Before, after and in between performances, Caravan of Desires is also an installation work. Video, sound, images and mechanical automata have been used by artists to play with selected themes of the performance. Some of the features can be viewed and experienced from further away, while others are set in letter boxes, keyholes and unexpected places around the caravan as peep-holes into miniature worlds.

The installation features act as enticing vignettes creating anticipation before and further drama after the performance. They also bring another element of exploration and discovery for the audience.
